β β β β β What a great place to stay. Absolutely lovely sunny, spacious room! So pleased the heaters were all on and we were able to get wet clothes dry, and have a lovely warm shower ready for the next day's ride with the Chatto Creek Motorcycle Club. Enjoyed the meal in the bar. THANK YOU

β β β β β Great old hotel. Excellent staff. Arrived early, outside hours, to book a motorhome site. Rang Kylie and she helped us out. Had an excellent meal, cooked by Zachary, and drinks. Typical West Coast atmosphere.

β β β β β The only thing that saves this place is Paige the bar person. She was awesome! Unfortunately the owner is a bit of a !!!! Well just ain't rude. Some people should not be in hospo! The owner/manager is one of those people! It was just a bit odd. But Paige saves the day! Locals are awesome friendly and welcoming the guy running the place mmmmmm not so. Thompson butchery just around the corner is definitely worth the stop bacon is amazing.

β β β β β Recommend you visit on Halloween! The backpackers is deserted, a bit "Doctor Sleep". We stayed on a powered site in a camper. The power worked, the water flowed, and there was a drain. There were no other facilities. The proprietor of the pub said we could use the facilities in the old backpackers block, but what facilities it has are limited to flushing toilets and cold showers. It has been completely abandoned for some time. It's like some weird Mary Celeste; doors hang open; leaves and cobwebs are strewn over half made beds, a pile of empty monster energy drinks in one room hints at long term occupation, but the pile of dead flies on the windowsill hints that was not so recent. A newspaper on the floor, dated earlier in the year suggests the place was only recently abandoned but the dΓ©cor suggests a long decline. We used the facilities built in our camper, and departed early.

β β β β β The service was excellent! Very friendly staff and also very generous with the chips! We felt like we stopped in the middle of nowhere and was unsure until we were warmly welcomed! Food was really good too!

β β β β β Excellent staff
Got stuck while waiting for a fan belt for the motorhome
So friendly and welcoming
Stayed for a few nights in a powered site. Then the staff refused payment for the last few nights as we were waiting on parts. Very refreshing to meet such hospitable people
Cheers guys

β β β β β Was there in 2018. Room was not something special as it was a bit dirty. However, hosts were cool and invited us for drinks after dinner. Was awesome to hear local stories and is a night I will never forget!
