β β β β β Used to love this place. Appears to have lost quality in food and prices for alcohol have notably gone up. Also booked a table and they didnβt have one for us where we asked even though they confirmed the booking, but staff were still hospitable

β β β β β The manager was incredibly unreasonable and cold towards our large paying group. Killed the vibes of the brunch. It seemed she had a problem with the men at the tableβ¦ she refused to serve them another drink unless they ate everything off their plate (they were not intoxicated) so she made him pay for extra fries when they were not even wanted. Will not be recommending or going here again.

β β β β β What a disappointment. The outside area looks worn out with peeling paint and grotty floor, Our table had a broken end with sharp edges and the average food came with a cockroach included. Told our waiter, he looked, laughed and walked off.

β β β β β The food is always lovely and drinks are nicely presented and tasty. Absolutely love the deals at House on Hood, there is a different deal each night which is genuinely pretty affordable and a good deal for money, which is hard to come across these days. Great variety and range of dishes, deals and drinks. Friendly service and an option to order from your phone online and pay for it by phone which is an awesome feature for groups paying individually. Really enjoy going to House on Hood and they pop the heaters on if needed and turn down TV noise if its too loud also. Great place and can get very busy.

Nothing special, nothing bad.
Worth noting that you will get a sugar rush before you get drunk when drinking the fish bowls.
