β β β β β Lots of stock big range of collectibles and antiques. Some nice stuff lots of crockery. Oil lamps were 2 or 3 times price we have seen elsewhere.

β β β β β staff were rude and majority of the items are either incredibly over priced or suddenly βnot for saleβ when enquiring about price.

β β β β β Visited on Monday with my partner. Walked in the door and was instantly gob smacked. My eyes couldn't take it all in fast enough. The goodies oh my goodness. Friendly owner who shared a bit about gold panning.
Would love to work there...oh what a time I would have!

β β β β β As an overseas tourist I found the ring I purchased didnβt last a week the main stone split, emailed the owner 3 times not one reply. I think thatβ sums up the owners intent, looks helpful on the outside but once bought and gone completely forgets you

β β β β β Had potential to be an awesome treasure finding experience if it were not for the owner who followed us around like a bad smell all the while spouting his racist views on "THE CHINESE".
Did not purchase anything from this racist, and would never set foot in there again.

β β β β β My daughter and I visited recently and I took a photo of an item to show a family member. We were absolutely stunned to have the owner step up as soon as I took the photo and tell us that he doesn't allow photography of any sort in his shop because "it's a fact that the Chinese take photos, send the photos back to China so the items can be copied and then within hours, fake copied items flood the market and ruin his business" He went on and on, loudly, saying that he "gets them out of his shop as quickly as he can" and that they have to be watched very closely.
An awful man with sad, racist views.
My daughter and I are NZ pakeha. Of course, we did not buy anything and will not ever return to the shop.
