★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was shocked to have the land lady let herself into the house and come upstairs to tell us to be quiet at 7.30pm in the evening. Regardless of the situation a text would have been sufficient. Felt like an invasion of privacy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately we had a poor stay at Hu’s Art Farm. We were excited to get a parents night away with a few friends, however at 7.30pm the landlady of the venue invited herself in unannounced which gave us a fright and requested for our movie to be turned town. It was uncomfortable having your privacy being taking advantage of, let alone when you’re paying $1,000+ for a night.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My new partner and I loved staying at Hus Art Farm. Beautiful place to stay and relax feeling like you have left the busy Auckland behind without leaving it. Great place to also have family over as well, with a large out door deck everyone can chat and eat together, wide open spaces to walk around and for kids to explore. Would be a beautiful place to hold a wedding at.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Noise and management seem to be their biggest downfall. Making yourself familiar with their noise and other policies is highly recommended. We we're clients right up until a) they changed the rules (long after our deposit was paid) and b) the fact that the venue was shut down by the council (1 week before our wedding) for not having the correct consent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have nothing but praise for this amazing venue! Had my wedding and also booked accommodation here last month on Waitangi Day. The most beautiful venue to have your event at. The estate is huge and scenery is breathtaking! Jess (event manager) made my life easy! Im telling you, she did everything for me, she is easy to communicate with, she bent over backwards to make my day special. And it sure was! We did have our doubts with noise but she reassured us itll be fine (esp when we had a live band) she gave out notices to the neighbours to give them a heads up of our day which iwas grateful for ? we had no complaints with noise whatsoever and we enjoyed every bit. The venue itself is beautiful inside and out. Beautiful art displays inside and the view from the deck was magnificent! I cannot fault these guys at all. If you are looking for a venue/accommodation, this is the place to be! Jenny and Jess are the most wonderful people you will ever come across. I cannot thank them enough for everything! ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect venue for our February wedding. Super dramatic backdrop of the forrest, beautiful barn for the reception. It was a perfect day! Cute little geese running around too. Jess looked after us throughout the day and helped everything run smoothly.
