Thanks to Rod and the team at True Kit. My Discovery 330 is awesome, and arrived well pack and in next to no time. After ordering I decided I wanted to add jockey wheels and rod holders, and they managed to install them on the day they were dispatched - great customer service! The boat is easy to set up (I recommend getting a 12v pump with automatic pressure settings) and I can get it from car boot to water in a comfortable 20 mins. Goes well with my 5hp Yamaha, and would be a weapon with a 15hp! Plenty of space for two fishos, with gear. Great safe platform for swimming or diving too. Not a True Kit problem, but be aware of your country’s import duties as you will need to budget for that. For this boat the Australian duties were around $695. Cannot recommend the Team and the product highly enough!

I'm getting lots of comments on our True Kit Navigator from other boat owners at our marina. And we love the buoyancy, it's super easy to board, and the fact I can get it onto the roof of the car by myself if I need to is a big plus.

We live in Japan & contact TrueKit where Rod , helped make our purchase smooth and easy especially the Import documents etc. When we were registering he also was quick with extra papers we needed. That was the hard work done ! we were then able to enjoy the boat & wow oh wow are we impressed, first how light and easy to set up , then the performance , at 2.8m with the Yamaha 8HP the boat with one in gets up to 32km + with 2 and all our dive gear plus a couple surf boards happy at 23km , blown away. Part of the fun was working out how to best balance and load her up then building confidence in open water. But she handles so well. We love using it as a Tow Foil boat as the low speed control is perfect for getting rider up and into waves. without ripping peoples arms off which is a problem we have with our jet ski. Not sure what else i can add , ah i suppose i should say , we are now getting a 4m as we wanna do everything we do now but with 4 of us. Haha , i suppose the 2.8m will become the new chase camera boat ! chee yew.

I have been using a Truekit Discovery (3.3m) as a combination dive tender and yacht tender, with the odd near-shore dive operation for two years. It's the most versatile vessel of its size that I've found. For an offshore yacht tender you ideally want something you can roll up and store below decks for bluewater passages, but then have the carrying capacity and performance of a RIB when you get where you're going. I don't mind suggesting that the Discovery is the only solution for this, because you can't roll up a RIB, the inflatable keel designs are almost as heavy as a RIB, and no other large inflatable will perform like a Truekit. I've also discovered that a Tohatsu or Mercury 9.8hp are just 26kg and power the lightweight Truekit Discovery on to the plane easy with a good load which gives you a very easy to handle option. I note that you'll need to have a cupped prop to ensure it doesn't cavitateβ€”the regular prop cavitates like crazy on the Discovery for some reason, but Rod Dawson can assist and supply an alternative. It's a capable dive tender, though you need more horsepower to get it to plane with three divers and all their kit. We have used the Discovery on an offshore expedition to the Kermadecs and at White Island/Bay of Plenty, up and down the NZ coast and even operating out the back of a Hilux for a shoot on the Waikato River. In all cases it has proved safe and light and reliable and could do things that a RIB could never doβ€”like being packed into the back of a car or quarter berth, or being lifted by one bloke on to a foredeck with one hand, or being a big landing platform for a giant VR-camera-carrying drone. Note that it won't perform like a RIB in a big seaway where the deep-vee and weight of the rigid hull are an advantage. Also it's better to have the load further aft sometimes, as the volume forward in the bow is low (which makes it easier to get in and out of) also means it can surprise passengers by shipping a bit over the bow when a fully loaded Discovery drops off the plane too fast. Likewise, this is a light-weight high-volume boat that you can put a fair bit of horsepower on to, so watch your throttle when you're going into the wind flat-out with one person aboard... it generates a fair bit of lift :) Overall the Discovery is a super flexible and capable tender that is easier to handle and packs away smaller that anything else in the same category. It's not the same as a RIB, but shares some of the performance values without the weight and volume. We'll be using ours for years to come, in NZ and into the Pacific, for expedition work and for pleasureβ€”it's just too versatile to look past.

True Kit inflatables are uniquely brilliant. Light to handle on land whilst stable and safe on the water. We've used our Discovery on still inland lakes and choppy coastal waters, powered by just a 10hp outboard. We would highly recommend them to anyone

I bought the true kit discovery 3.3m. Awesome boat, only thing is... I kinda wish Rob would have some articles or something on his website telling people about outboard motors and how to choose the right one for your true kit boat. I bought a 10HP for my discovery 3.3m, and it's a bit underpowered, can't get on a plane with 2 people. Now I feel like I need to spend another $3000 for a 15hp. I feel if I had some more information from True Kit about how outboards perform, I would've made a better purchasing decision and hence would be having a better experience with my true kit boat.

I had never heard of or seen a True Kit Inflatable until I stumbled across a 2m True Kit Inflatable on Trade me. Curious why this inflatable commanded such a high 'near new' 2nd hand price I researched True Kit Inflatable Boats website and was immediately impressed with the insane quality and attributes. After reading every word and review I purchased the Navigator 2.5m as a yacht tender within the week. When I unpacked the Navigator I was NOT disappointed, these boats exude quality that the price doesn't need a mention. Special call out to Fergus who was excellent in making the purchase seamless. AAA+++ highly recommend.

A seriously good purchase. After researching options and almost settling on a tinny to go on the roof of my ute (as I also have a caravan in tow) I came across True Kit. I purchased the Navigator 300 when I was sitting on the side of a lake watching other boaties catching fish! It arrived last week and we spent the weekend at Lake Lyndon giving it a good blat using a 6hp outboard. Couldn't be happier! It is easy to set up (and fast!), stable on the water and easy to pack down into the envelope styled bag. Great service and help, excellent quality material, Easy to set up and pack down. Look forward to many more trips with this beauty. Highly recommend.
