PHASE 3. Currently as on 25th February 2022:
If you test positive you will either receive a txt message or phone call with what to do next – this may come directly from MOH. You should be isolating until you get a test result through already.

Your employer should not ask you for a GP letter to confirm you need to isolate. You would only need an off work certificate if you are too unwell to work beyond the 10 days of isolation.
You do not need a further test or a letter to state you can return to work or school once your isolation has finished.
If you are a household Close Contact
You are a household Close Contact if you live with someone who is positive for COVID-19. Whether you are fully vaccinated or not, you need to:
- stay home and self-isolate from others from the day the person with COVID-19 tests positive or is notified as a probable case until they complete their 10 days of self-isolation
- get a test for COVID-19 on day 3, and on day 10 of the isolation period
- if symptoms develop at any stage, assume you have COVID-19, and self-isolate for 10 days as a probable case from when your symptoms appear.
To organise a test currently as a household contact you can call 0800 4888 123 directly and you will be booked in to be tested at one of the Hutt Valley Community Testing Centre's.
PLEASE NOTE: Hutt Valley Community Testing Centre’s call centre is open Mon-Sun: 9am-4pm
We do not currently have RAT testing available at the practice and will update this if that changes.
We are currently offering COVID swabbing for our enrolled patients requiring a Doctors appointment only – this may change from time to time due to COVID response. If you do not require an appointment at this time our nursing team can refer you on to the community team.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service is shocking. Takes so long to get an appointment or an update. I tried making an appointment today (3rd Dec) and the earliest appointment given was 11th Jan. The receptionist was quite rude and told me togo to after hours. This is ridiculous. Doctors are also constantly leaving the centre which makes things difficult.
(I would have rated this with no stars if it was possible)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Called needing emergency medication, person I spoke to showed zero empathy and couldn't even provide any helpful work around. Wasn't until I spoke directly to a pharmacy that I was suggest to come in and get an emergency 3 day supply. My family and I are now changing doctors as a result.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in with cough to get a covid test. Dr did test but didn't think it was covid so prescribed antibiotics. Dr said I didn't need to pay as I was coming in for Covid test and it's covered. But have since been told I need to pay since he prescribed me medication. That was never stated. Poor communication.
I have since been contacted and the situation has been dealt with.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was a patient at this clinic when it first opened until 4 years ago when I shifted south.. I am sorry to hear the clinic has gone down I used to have to attend monthly and all the doctors were great no complaints. The reception staff apart from one blonde girl were pretty average a little training in pr would help I never had a problem with the nurses.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have had continuous issues with this practice - once I ordered a script on a Thursday and was called on Friday at 4.30pm to say I had to pay for the script before they would send it through to the pharmacy and then when I had paid over the phone, they said that they would send it out on Tuesday (Monday was a public holiday). They then waited another day (Thursday morning) to tell me that my payment didn't go through and I would have to pay again. It was really lucky that I didn't need the script ASAP, otherwise I would have been a week without my meds. Also paying $22 to send a digital script through to a pharmacy is ridiculous, especially as they mix up your scripts so often. I have had upwards of 4 times where they sent the wrong script to my pharmacy and then tried to make me pay for them resending it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best practices around, staff are super helpful and very professional, and have the best communication ive had in a medical center. Hard to believe the below reviews, But i guess when you sit behind a computer its easy to say things that are not true......One of the only clinics in the Hutt valley with really reasonable prices too, as i researched this before enrolling here. I have had nothing but great things to say about this clinic. I would absolutely recommend this clinic to people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible to deal with. Paid for prescription over the phone and didn’t go through to my chemist. I rung again and receptionist said she will send again. The 2nd day my chemist still hasn’t received it.
