Hutt District Cricket Club - Hutt Central
At Hutt District Junior Cricket we strive to provide a fun and supportive environment for kids for making friends, developing skills and enjoying the great game of cricket.
Our junior club boasts over 250 players (with 25 teams) across all grades from Year 0/1 "Have a go" through to Year 8 Intermediate level making us one of the largest junior clubs in Wellington. Participation is key and the game at the junior level is structured so as all kids have an equal opportunity to bat, bowl and field therefore staying active and engaged for the duration of the game.
Our club offers the opportunity to our juniors players to also take part in the Hawkes Bay Cricket Campsheld in January school holiday for our Year 5 to Year 8 players.
The Junior Club will also closely monitor and observe Ministry of Health guidelines for the safety of all our kids and families. The HDCC Junior Cricket facebook page will communicate new information.
