β β β β β I arranged for my Nissan Leaf 24kWh battery to be upgraded to 40kWh at i-Tech Automotive. This was a cheaper option than purchasing a new Leaf. After some discussion with Anton, a date was arranged and once parts arrived I took the car for the conversion. They estimated it could possibly be done in one day (usually takes 1-2 days), but there was just not enough time to ensure all was working correctly, so they provided me with a courtesy car to return home. My car was ready for collection the next business day (was ready by 10:45). All the employees I have talked to are really friendly and helpful, and the technicians have great knowledge of Nissan Leafs (and Hybrid/ICE vehicles from what I can see). The price of the conversion was what I expected. I would recommend to anyone wishing to upgrade their Leaf battery to have a chat with Anton/the i-Tech team. β β β β β ? To be honest I donβt even know how to say it ... Such a ripoff these guys are. So actually I took my car to i-tech to get it fixed since itβs a hybrid it had some transmission issues. Worse decision I ever made. On the receipt it has mentioned that so many things are done to get my car repaired and I have paid them$950. The problem with the car was transmission but they said there are lot of things to be done Like: service, spark plugs which actually even was not changed at all but they made me paid $100 for it. After that my car should have been alright for another 100,000 kms and shouldnβt have had any transmission problems. My car was stopped in the middle of the road after only 15000 kms. I took my car to the other mechanic this time and figured out that the problem is with the transmission again because they did not repair it properly and no spark plugs were changed and services were not done properly. Most of the services they have mentioned on the receipt was not even done. I have all the proofs of what I have said. I have paid $800 to the other mechanic to get the things done properly this time. When I tried talk to them the manager verbalised to bring the car back and they will re do the repair but how can I trust them second time when they didnβt even done most of the things on first time. I feel i-tech is not trust worthy automobile shop. They were supposed to tell if my car any other issues but they did not even bother to tell me instead of letting me know they put on the back of receipt that EGR cooler partially block and it may need to be replaced in future which cost EGR valve $612

I figured out with the other mechanic there is no such issues identified. My car needed a repair again due to transmission issues as they did not repair it on first place. I have all the photos with me and their receipt as well. Finally, I am going to file the complaint in the tribunal court against them so other people wonβt get cheated or rip off by them. The reason I am putting this comment is to save other hard working peoples time, and money and to let you guys know there are better and cheaper mechanics around for hybrid cars.

β β β β β Excellent place to get Hybrid vehicles serviced and particularly Battery Service. Everyone working there have good knowledge about Hybrid battery which makes our job easy. Particularly Mr.Sanjay he himself took initiative in making claims on behalf of me from Jansen Insurance. His work saved my time. I got my Hybrid Battery replaced in just 1hr, though he said 2hrs. Will recommend this place for all Automobile Service.

β β β β β Highly not recommended. People stay aware. Went for full aqua 3month warranty battery replacement. And i wasn't perform well for at least for a one month and i ask for refund last Tuesday (12 April 2022) on that day they told me that you will get refund into your account on Thursday (14 April 2022) but i haven't received the any refund from that day i had to call them every day and they saying you will get tomorrow
Highly not recommended for the hybrid battery works
