★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was my birthday and my favourite cake shop was closed for holidays, so I decided to give this one a try.
The cake looked very nice, but that's it - it was the most awful cake I've ever tried. The icing felt like it had sand in it, as if there was sugar that didn't dissolve properly. The whole cake was too sweet almost to the point you can't stand it. The cake decoration candies seemed to be old and dry.
Even the kids didn't want to eat this cake. Such a disappointment.
