★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An average fish and chip shop .. nothing exciting but also not too bad , the snapper was fresh and pretty tasty as was the pineapple fritter but the chips , hot dogs and potato fritters were average , probably a pretty okay local chippy but not worth a special visit or trip .

Home-made chips used to be crisp and delicious but, sadly, they’ve been consistently soggy the last visits since September. Today’s order was placed and waited for so no opportunity for it to have sat unnecessarily. What’s going on guys?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I finally got to try this place after reading about it in the news. Being one of the best places for Fish and Chips in Auckland. Yeah, a couple of years too late...Thank you Covid. I reckon it lived up to its billing as being one of the best. Chips are excellent and the fish portions were huge. Yes it is expensive compared to your standard takeaway shop, but I can understand why. I went with the fish of the day as a starting point. The battered fish was oily, but it wasn't overly oily to the point where it made the batter soggy. The chips were seasoned perfectly. I enjoyed every bite of it and I will definitely be back to try the other types of fish on offer. Highly recommended if you haven't tried it before. Look past the price and enjoy the food. Support local. Thanks guys.

With Frankie loving snapper and they grilled it which is the first fish and chips shop we've ever visited that offered such option We were very happy indeed and Frankie polished it!
