Sunday night roast buffet was very good

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic atmosphere, great food! Spent the weekend there in our caravan, visited Waiuta and Blackball, both within easy travelling distance. We will definitely stay there again. Thanks everyone!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly. A genuine slice of rural kiwiana at it's best. Excellent, fresh food. Camping ground simple but most of what you need (we were in a self- contained camper but enjoyed use of bathroom/toilet/hot shower facilities). Highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great meals. The roast included 9 veges and the Iky burger kept me full for 24 hours! The accommodation is good value. John and his wife make you feel at home. Having a good old fashioned country meal there is a must, if you're traveling by!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful little campground. Due to the campground being full with campervans and no room for a tent we got given a little cabin by the owner which was perfect and we had somewhere warm to sleep. We had dinner on the deck at the hotel which we really enjoyed. Would definitely stay again.
