★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful villas. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Very close to Herons flight vineyard imo the best winery in Matakana. Also close to Brick Bay, Matakana Estate and the few others still going. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolute stunning views, perfect location minutes to Matakana Village. Awsome hosts Nik and Denise very friendly and welcoming. The food at the restaurant was yum as, Sebastian the manager and his team ensured we were well looked after. Kudos to the team at Plumes Villa ?

Short stroll to the plume restaurant never have been disappointed by the meals.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall had a lovely stay. This is pitched as high end accommodation and if certainly gets close. Build quality is pretty top notch and the cabin design and feel is amazing.
Although surrounded by others it is very private and you don’t really see your neighbors which is always great.
I think there are some things they could do to really up their game a little bit... things like having more towels available in the bathroom, a comfy sofa and a side chair would all go along way. They also missed some additions in the kitchen like having a platter etc.
The bed was comfortable and large and two types of pillows. The bathroom is of a large size however the fan is a bit annoying. It comes on about 60-90 seconds after a switch is turned but doesn’t switch off for a few mins. Totally get the logistics but would be better to have an option to turn on light w out it sprinting on.
Would stay again, clean tidy and overall great location.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Matakana's hidden gem! These very new, modern but super cosy villas sit beautifully in landscaped surroundings and are very private. In the heart of the local wine country, it's the perfect spot for a romantic getaway. Close local attractions too numerous to name - already planning our next stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small villas for accomodation. These are furnished one bedroom house. The only inconvenience is parking. All visitors have to park in the visitors car park.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommend this centrally located, clean, well thought through details, contemporary design and all encompassing accomodation (has a pool, restaurant, too). We are a family of four and have high expectations of the places we stay. Plume Villa tick all the boxes; small and big things that matter from high voltage hair dryer to top notch cleaning service even over Easter Sunday to immediate attention when we left our keys in the villa upon return at 6pm and were greeted with smiles when Nick helped opened the door within minutes.
True 5 star accomodation. Not many similar ones in NZ.
From our bed, we could see the sunrise which was a plus.
