β β β β β Inaccurate reporting provided by Illion to credit sense. I have never been in default with Vodafone, lodged an investigation and it took them almost a year to get back to me, with Illion saying they have contacted Vodafone and the info is correct (on their customer service line?? Eh, what. Privacy wise they wouldn't be able to get any info calling customer services anyway, if they were a reputable credit company surely they would have a more direct line than that and talk to the account person who handle these cases??).
After a lengthy conversation with a cust service rep at Vodafone today, lo and behold, they confirmed as well that my account has always been paid on time and I never received a late fee. In all the time I have been a customer at Vodafone I have also only had one account number. Personally I will be going to the privacy commissioner in relation to this case and would recommend others complain too based on the reviews on here. Unprofessional, luckily most companies use Citrix or Equifax to do their credit checks so I hope this won't affect me in the future.

β β β β β My loan has been refused just because of these people. Who mixed other person details with me. Other person have same name , same date of birth, same month of birth but different year of birth.
Different parents name ,contact number, different DL , different passport even then they attached my email to wrong person and they wants me to give them 30 days to resolve the problem. These people are spoiling others life. I never ever had bad credits in my life but these people forcefully tagged this on me

β β β β β I payed off a bill to baycorp on July 22nd 2020, since then my credit score had made it's way to a fair score of 310, I go to Noel Leaming to get a Note 20 Ultra 5g on an affordable Payment plan, however when it came to a credit score check, I was declined.
Confused i checked my credit score online again myself, my score said needs work and had dropped down to 256, checking the defult to see why this was happening, I stumble upon the bill I had paid off this year.
I have disputed this, and have gotten baycorp involved with this as that bill should have not been there.
Everytime I call them and they actually pick up they say their analytics team is working on the error, however that's not good enough, I'm looking for a rental property at the moment and have been turned down all because of an error on their behalf.
All I ask is that they remove the defult and reinstate the 54 credit points that they have taken away from me.
I never thought that such a simple task could become so complicated.
I will be going to the courts today to speak to a lawyer about taking them to court, as after reading through these reviews and hearing how it takes a year to get anything done, it comes down to that I don't have that long.

β β β β β I am only posting 1 star because I have to give a star to review. I would rather be posting no stars.
This is the worst company to deal with!!!!! About 2 1/2 years ago I found the person listed on my credit simple report was not me. Having all her bad credit against my account I contacted credit simple, who would you believe, told me that if the person listed on MY account was not me, they couldn't discuss the situation with me due to the privacy act. After to-ing and fro-ing, I then had to prove that I was not that person. It's easy to prove who you are, but very difficult to prove you are not someone as I found out. This persons debt was also logged against my drivers licence.
Eventually after a huge amount of my time spent trying to sort this out, I finally go my details loaded on my account, only to find out recently that the details have changed back to the other lady's details. My credit details are nowhere to be found.
I have been unsuccessful in making contact with this company again after spending a lot of my time trying to contact them. Perhaps you can forgive 1 major mistake, but by repeating the same mistake that had taken me so long to get them to correct, I am lodging a complaint with the privacy commission to get this sorted once and for all.
Total ignorance and incompetence!!

β β β β β 3-4 years of this Company confusing my details with someone else, same first name & DOB but thatβs where it ends!! I have constantly tried to get this updated to no avail. There is a complaint currently being documented to the appropriate companys. How the hell your Company gets away with advertising βfalse informationβ is beyond me!! I have been in to the Bank with my ID & even they cannot understand why this has happened!! My Credit Report should be EXCELLENT, sort it out ??ββοΈ??ββοΈ??ββοΈ

β β β β β A bunch of absolute lazy clowns. Few months ago some companies had done credit checks on my file without my knowledge. I got in touch with the concerned companies and they admitted that the checks were done in error and they had notified Illion to remove the credit checks. Illion sat on it for over a month and did nothing till i rang them and questioned them as to why this wasn't done. I made a complaint and they don't even have the decency to acknowledge the complaint. I reckon their license to be a credit reporting agency should be revoked. Don't need someone that irresponsible reporting on people's credit.
In contrast their competitors Equifax and Centrix do a much better job.

β β β β β Absolute disappointment. This company has posted incorrect information on my credit - creditors that I donβt even know about and have never dealt with. I have tried to contact them to have this corrected and to obtain more information but they are impossible to get ahold of! They have no number to contact them on and take more than two months to reply to any queries via email - the email responses are unhelpful and donβt even address the queries raised. If there is credit fraud in NZ itβs because of the useless service provided here by this agency that should be there to help. Why bother stating that we should contact them when information is incorrect when they wonβt bother taking action.

β β β β β For SIX MONTHS now Iβve been disputing with Illion, as my addresses are completely wrong (cities Iβve never lived in!) and Iβve had random telco accounts attempted to be opened in my name. Iβve sent so much proof and correspondence but they just donβt care. Sent a formal complaint through - crickets. If my credit rating dives because of them Iβll be taking it way further.
