★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best Indian food in Westgate. We are not big fans of Indian food but these guys are exceptional. We got to know about them from a community page and tried their famous lamb biriyani. I would say we never had such a tasty lamb biriyani in NZ ever. Since then we ordered almost most of the menu items time to time. My recommendations are go for lamb biriyani or butter chicken. Their staff is exceptionally friendly and even the owner is super down to earth. You can see they are doing their very best to keep the customers happy and keep the place pristine.

Taste = 3.5/5 (Average taste) served raw onion bhaji (not cooked in centre) but happily changed the dish and served alternate.
Service = 4/5 (very friendly but can improve on giving recommendations, suggest owner to host tasting session for staff for them to know each dish)
Ambiance = 5/5
Average price for 2 = $ 50
Will I go back = May be YES

Very disappointed with the takeaway meal we received tonight. The photos taken below are meant to be of a vindaloo, although it was 50% oil and absolutely inedible. I tried stirring it in but it was just a runny and oily mess. I’ve had many vindaloos and never have I received a dish anywhere near as oily and greasy as this. Stained my marble bench too! Had to drive back to the store to get a refund and won’t be returning. Manager seemed confused and apologetic but gave me a refund without dispute. My partner’s butter chicken was very bland and devoid of meat... just an odd taste. Didn’t taste like butter chicken.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've been waiting for 40 mins and no one came to take our order. My children were very hungry, we had to look for another restaurant. Staffs were busy preparing the take away food, the phone never stopped. 5 tables customer were sitting there without any service. Will never come back.
