★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hot tip: use Jacks Pass it is maintained and is good driving. Jollies Pass is shorter on the map, but is unmaintained and full of cracks and pot holes - made that mistake on trip one, got through though but it was slow and hard work. Trip two over Jacks Pass was much easier.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An interesting diversion over a bumpy road more suited to higher clearance vehicles, crossovers etc. Jollies pass is 4wd only as there are fords to negotiate. Recent weather is a factor. You can swim in the Clarence, turn right at the crossroads and head to the power pylons for a suitable place. Nice views of the surrounding hills.
