We had the Braised Korean Spicy Chicken with Potatoes, Charcoal Marinated Beef Rib, Kumara Noodles and Marinated Skate swing Sashimi with Jamiโs Sauce and the Seafood Tofu Soup. The spicy chicken was super delicious and I love the spicy and sweet sauce! Charcoal beef ribs were legit, highly recommended. The Kumara noodles were tasty will order again when next visit. The disappointing dish was the seafood tofu soup which lacked flavour.

A bit understaffed during peak time but the food came real quick tho.

Galbitang: thought general one. Guess base soup was made of herbal stuff. Not sure.
Galbi jungsik: marinated meat served with side dishes. It was soft and sweet enough and side dishes were well cooked.
All staff welcoming and smile all the time. For lunch for 2 people paid 50 bucks. Can't dine out here casually.

โ โ โ โ โ I was so amazed when I walked into the restaurant, the most spacious and luxurious Korean restaurant I've seen in Auckland so far. Their food is therefore more expensive than an average Korean restaurant. The bibimbap was really good. I didn't like their spicy pork rib as much because it was too sweet. Overall, very good experience and would definitely try again if I visit North shore.

โ โ โ โ โ Recently visited Jami again, this place used to my go to place for traditional Korean food. I noticed the menu has changed, with some upward pricing changes as well. The taste of dishes we ordered was overall average and relatively small portion apart from the braised chicken with soy sauce ....

โ โ โ โ โ good experience of Korean traditional food with my boyfriend. Bulgogi and other side dish was really good quality. But staffs are so slow, We were waiting to order few mins.. They think we are Kiwi so we donโt understand Korean so they talking like โThat Kiwi couple donโt know how to eat Bulgogiโ but thank you for caring ours table ๋ถํ ?!

The food was difficult to fault, great flavors and authentic!
They moved our table and forgot to inform the servers, so our food went to someone else. But they fixed that quickly and kept apologising while also gave us some extra meat.
100% would return!

โ โ โ โ โ Been here before but first time trying their kbbq here. Spacious and comfortable place, we picked here mostly because of this. Typically kbbq place are often crowded and if it is a buffet then it is not as clean and not so much social distancing. The quality is quite good, although I have to admit quantity a little on the low side. We had the pork scotch and the marinated beef rib as well as a seafood pancake. The pancake was super yummy, would definitely get it again. Service was quite good, the owner keep coming to cook for us, but I actually would rather do it myself as I enjoy the cooking. Anyway, the grill is also changed regularly and it is the charcoal style and not the gas. Price was on the higher side, but the experience is nice.
So if you are looking for quality and comfort, this place is a good choice.
