This is the bar you’ve always dreamed of.
In the beautiful suburb of Milford on Auckland’s North Shore, Pym’s of Milford is nestled amongst the busy main strip with its welcoming green and white frontage. Owned and managed by three local Milford friends, Jacqui, Sarah and Craig – a builder and two interior design experts - with no experience but a ‘let’s do it’ attitude, which, coupled with their passion and drive, was more than enough to make this bar a new beloved local.
As the name suggests Pym’s has a soft spot for yesteryear with hints of the 60s, 70s and 80s, but also loves today. Owners Jacqui and Sarah are there to welcome you in every day, and where you will settle into the most gorgeous décor with an amazing throwback vintage photo wall of what Milford beach used to be, a beautiful space where you can sit and relax… be that on your own or with a group… and where you will be treated like family, be offered a fabulous and varied wine list, the most beautiful food made from local fare and lovingly made by the Pym’s staff with on-site homemade specials and the ever-popular regular menu items like the divine Pyms Burger, the sensational Prawn Cocktail and the platters that get people talking, all served by the friendly family staff – who really are part of Sarah and Jacqui’s families!

This vibe coupled with good food at good prices has turned Pym's into a local favourite in record time. Come in, settle down, grab a drink and chill. You won't regret it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in and tried the Chicken Skewers and Beef & Mushroom Sliders - holy heck they were yum!!! Absolute compliments to the chef! So pleasantly surprised by the ambience, staff, and vibes of the place - can't wait until I'm not driving so I can get a drink and have the full experience! Will be back for sure, thank you Pym's (and thank you to Sarah and Jacqui - the wonderful owners who I met and had such nice chats with!)
