We have blown the Euro fridge people out of the water by making a compressor which is the equal of the best German designs. Even though we are up to 50% cheaper than our competition we offer the same or better warranties than theirs.

I have never encountered such unhelpful customer service from a retail store. There was man who didn’t even give me the time of day to listen to what I was even looking for. Really appalling to see that not every customer is valued.

Also had an issue with a faulty product that had to be returned. They refunded the money no questions asked. Also very friendly and knowledgeable team. Thank you

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the guys here is very helpful, he's a slightly older pakeha guy, i like to deal with him when i shop here on weekends. However there is a guy who is possibly indian who i assume is the owner or at least higher in rank than the other guy and he's always trying to upsell you.
I bought a set of calipers and he said "oh you'll need to get better batteries for them" and i'm thinking ok, so this set must not come with batteries thats cool. So i buy the calipers and a set of the batteries he recommended which were surprisingly expensive.
I get home and the calipers have batteries in them.
The batteries in the calipers lasted a good year or so, and only ran out because i left the calipers on. Luckily i have a large pack of expensive batteries. Yaaaaay

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For over 25 years I have been a private customer and bought items for a large corporation where I work as a senior engineer. I have never been so rudely treated by an employee at Jaycar Electronics, Harris Road Branch.
The employee, who I took as a senior or manager at the store, did not behave in a professional way when I returned goods that did not perform satisfactorily. In fact he wrote on the documentation *Change of Mind".
His appearance, being polite about it, appeared sloppy and unkempt, contrasting very radicaly with the attentive and well groomed other staff members.
I will be back to Jaycar as they have good quality electronic goods but I'm not keen to go to the Harris Road outlet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly staff, good range. While you can get parts much cheaper from overseas it's the perfect place to go when you can't wait 6 weeks for a $5 item. Regular customer for that very reason.
