β β β β β We had the 6 course degustagion meal. It was transcendent. The calamari was perfectly paired with a white wine. I have never eaten a more flavorful risotto. The steak tartar was perfectly seasoned and the chips were fresh as could be. The main was enormous and delicious, cut tableside by one of the best waiters I have had. Everything in the restaurant, from decor to service was immaculate. This was an amazing experience!

β β β β β Service is awesome, environment is feeling pretty good. We ordered a few different types of steaks, either over cooked or too salty. I think this is the reason i give them 4 stars. Not recommend to try the king crab.

β β β β β This place is a must go! After visiting a couple of places in Queenstown, Jervois steak house is definitely our favourite. The food was delicious and the service, outstanding! A special thank you to Megan who served us and made us feel at home. She never let our drinks empty and made sure everyone was happy at the table constantly. We will definitely come back again!!!

β β β β β The best aspect of our experience here was the service, but even that was still quite casual and low key for a restaurant that touts fine dining prices. For a literal STEAK HOUSE, both of our bone-in filets were undercooked and poorly seasoned. Bland, bland, bland. Even the βgarlic butterβ served on the side was cold, hard, and didnβt even taste like garlic β it actually detracted from the taste of an already-mediocre steak. Iβd heard great things about Jervois since my partner frequents the JSH in Auckland, but I was really underwhelmed by the whole experience here. It left many things to be desired β for one, steak that was actually flavorful and cooked correctly. The side dishes were also bland and lifeless. Mushrooms tasted as flat as dishwater, kumara mash had way too much sugar in it, and the seasonal vegetables were actually pretty good. Overall, I was not impressed for what ended up being a ~$200 meal for 2 people. Our server was pretty cool, but not the type of person youβd expect to find serving you in a supposedly high-end steakhouse. Iβll try their Auckland location, but based on my experience in Queenstown I wouldnβt recommend Jervois.

β β β β β The steak there was fantastic. Have a great variety of steak choices. Try the chef board if not sure what to have ?can enjoy 3 different different type of steak by the chef choice or you can select the different combination you like to try.

β β β β β Nice environment and great customer service. Tons of Wines selection. We ordered King cut with medium cook. Starters and entrees is great but the portion just average. Itβs not surprised us and the steak could been done better. Overall itβs a nice palace in town.
