Amazing food and friendly service. Epic mine and cheese pie was epic, and the crumbed chicken burger is world class.

Good car parking available. Nice friendly vibe when arriving. Good selection of beers wines and food. Clean and inside outside flow with smoking area available outside. Able to bring the dog to the out side area to sit. Food took a while, in gastro pub fashion. Large portions and well prepared. Toilets clean and easy to find.

Don't miss out on this one! Awesome food in generous quantities, beautiful laid-back venue & convivial host. Just had a Ferrymead Lions Club social there. Best ever. Great price too.

The fact that the place was empty at lunchtime should have been a warning. I ate a splendid shredded corn beef lunch here two years or so ago and after checking the website was pleased to see that it was still on the menu. On arrival I found that the website had not been updated in several years and a different and not very enticing menu was now offered. My friend went for the chicken burger. I ordered the tempura fish. Having lived in Japan for ten years (and being a dab hand in the kitchen myself), I new what tempura fish should look and taste like. What I got was a single slab of cheap fish in a thick, oily and undercooked batter mixture. It was awful. Even the local seagulls may have refused it. And it wasn't cheap. DO NOT EAT AT THIS PLACE!!! Donate your lunch money to charity instead - you'll certainly get more satisfaction. Worse meal I have had in years. Avoid eating here at all costs!
