★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great friendly service Chinese food here is always yummy but as this time we got fish and chips we have to review that! The hotdog was hardly battered at all and did not look or taste appealing and the chips were over done and the fish in our burger didnt taste the best either but the wontons were great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gone downhill a bit, prices seem to expensive for what you get. Smorgasbord, chicken all tastes the same, fish is oily like kahawai, so not to my taste. Burgers still good size and flavour but missing a bit of filling ie steak and egg just steak egg and a patty in a bun with a splodge of lettuce mayo. Off the menu, will go elsewhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time my partner and I tried Jo's Cook here in Wainuiomata, usually we go to Miramar. My partner and I got ourselves a smorgasbord each, and the food was delicious! I especially loved the spare ribs.
Only complaint is I didn't get the text message they said they'll give when the order was ready, so was a little delayed picking it up, and wasn't as hot due to that. I'll go straight to the counter next time instead of waiting
