About Johnsonville Dental Practice Wellington | Lumino The Dentists
Nimisha qualified with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Gujarat University, India in 1999. After coming to New Zealand, and completion of my NZREX examinations in 2003, she has worked in private practice in the Wellington region. Nimisha enjoys the diverse dental work that she does, including but not limited to, fillings, extractions crowns and bridges, partial and full dentures.
Nimisha’s care planning stems from ensuring that her patients have a good understanding of their oral health, as well as the preventative and treatment options available to them. Nimisha is a fluent speaker in Gujarati and Hindi and pride herself on her ability to provide gentle treatment. Simple pleasures in her spare time like kicking a ball or playing scrabble with her young family is what she loves the most.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Your telephone operator needs to be trained to take calls.. For a country with diverse cultures she shouldn’t expect everyone to speak in a European Kiwi accent! I speak to thousands of New Zealanders over the phone and unless they are racists they haven’t told me “ I find it hard to understand your accent”!! Which is what your operator told me!
I was in excruciating pain and was trying to get an urgent appointment. While I was fishing around it was the J’Ville Dental Center that recommended your place ..I spoke to 3 other Dentist places and all of them understood what I was talking about ....thankfully I got an appointment without a question asked at another place that day. Yes Lumino is not recommended for non European New Zealanders !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My family used to go there for tooth fix and regular check for a few years, until my partner and I both had failed root canal therapy. By the time we realised that the dentist had already left and Lumino was just playing ball back and forth without taking any responsibility.
What makes it even worse is that the alternative dentist they provided gave me a terrible diagnostic/solution: nothing but removing the tooth...
I was lucky I didn't listen to their bs any more and got proper treatment from a specialist in town. Hope anyone will not suffer and waste their time and money there.

Negative: Disappointed to receive a rude and unprofessional greeting by the receptionist who in my opinion will benefit from attending communication courses to develop her interactions with clients.
