★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Surprisingly warm, even in cold weather the hut is equipped with freah water and toilet facilities alongside the 10 bunks and a wealth of internal and external space. Hell of a view too

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great tramp from Mountain Rd. Brace yourself for the steep Devil's staircase, river crossings and a very boggy track near Jubilee Hut (quite a distance from the Jubilee Hut signage near the first river crossing). Take a torch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome hut to stay at with incredible views through the valley. Well equipped hut with fresh water and adequate sleeping for 10 people, with room for an additional 4-5 people to sleep on the floor (bedroll recommended). Will warn- the Devils Staircase is harder than you might think if you aren't an experienced tramper, but a great accomplishment once completed.
