★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everything from the cabana campervan to the guy who came to pick us up at the airport to the receptionist - they all were so happy and accomodating (especially when working on a long weekend, when they could be with family and friends celebrating/having a holiday). Also the other Jucy users, it was like being on a family trip heading in different directions, there we so many strangers in Jucy campers who waved at us and looked so excited for there trip, I have loved the experience so far and I am on day 3 of my 7 day holiday break. Thank you Jucy, I would highly recommend!I

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I hired a Condo camper with our little dog. It was the best! Nice and easy process when picking the camper up, we managed to find a place called Parking mode around the corner to securely park our car while we had the camper which was great.
The condo camper itself was perfect for us, it was one of the newer vehicles so hadnt travelled as far as all the others. Such good pricing if you compare it to other vampervan hire companies - we didnt want one that had a bathroom as we had planned to stay at holiday parks the whole time.
Staff at the auckland branch were so friendly and helpful, we couldnt find anywhere to refill the LPG tank but when we called the branch they said we could have it refilled at branch for $15 which was way easier to do than to drive all around looking for petrol stations that refill the small tanks.
Iverall we were so impressed with our condo, we are planning another trip for October as one of the awesome branch members gabe us a discount code for our next trip!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had contact with Jucy staff 3 times on my renting process, and each time I felt the staff was new.
Poor communication skills when I arrived for pick up. Campervan wasn’t there, kept me waiting. When the campervan appeared, no one engaged with me. When I’m ready to leave they decide they have to wash the car, no questions asked. I arrived 2hs later than what I initially booked, but it wasn’t ready (off season with almost no tourists). Kept me waiting for a carwash I never asked.
On the road I called Jucy to change my booking, staff didn’t know anything and kept putting me on hold. Couldn’t solve my booking through the phone. Campervan was great, I enjoyed it. But the fact that you can’t drive with the bed ready is terrible!
Hope this helps to improve. I’m still waiting to get back the $$ which was froze of my bank acc.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Check in was super easy, the lady that served us was very friendly and patient and made sure I understood all the terms and conditions especially in regards to insurance. The car was very economical, smooth to drive, great condition and clean.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got stung with an extra $40 fee for “after hours” pick up at Auckland Airport because the office closed at 4pm. Called the third-party shuttle service (Park and Fly), who couldn’t explain where their own pick up point at the domestic terminal was (turns out it’s by the Jetstar terminal, not where every other shuttle service operates from at the domestic terminal). When we finally found the shuttle, the driver didn’t want to take us because “they don’t deliver to Jucy rentals”. Pay a little bit extra and hire a car from Avis/Budget etc. Better opening hours, right by the terminal, no shuttle buses. Slightly more expensive, but not $40 more expensive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately we were not satisfied with the state of the camper or the juicy staff upon returning. (AUCKLAND)
On pick up the staff were friendly. However our camper was not ready even though we did online check in and we booked months ago.
The camper itself was not in good condition. The juicy sticker on the front was ripped off and there was a bit of damage. We expected that the camper would be ready on pick up however, there was no camp table available even though we booked it. The camp chairs were not in the van so they had to go get some and hold us up even longer. There was no table leg for the inside table too. So for four days we had no table at all.
The tyres were not pumped up so we had to go do that ourselves at the petrol station.
There was no sink plug or tea towels.
There was rubbish behind the back seat from previous guests.
The electric side doors were extremely hard to open and the remote for them did not work.
On return of the van the staff were all sitting outside the office and they did not acknowledge us, there was one person that finally asked if we cleaned the van out and if the keys were inside.
We were going to tell them that we weren’t happy but they did not want to talk to us so the best way is to give an honest review and call the helpline because the staff were zero help. The man that shuttled us to the airport was the only friendly one.
Due to COVID we had to change our booking to a long weekend where they charged us an extra premium so the cost for this awful experience was expensive and not worth it.
Don’t recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You get what you pay for…. Shower and pump in kitchen sink wasn’t working. We were given endless excuses and no solution. Was charged full amount even though we had to pay for camp grounds in the end as we couldn’t use shower and kitchen. After reading their feedback now I wish we had paid more and gone with a proper motor home and a company with a better reputation. It would have been cheaper in the long run.
