★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On Saturday I called into this lovely shop to purchase a scarf as I was out with family and it was raining and very cold. My family wanted to attend the craft market that was being held in the Domain. I found a gorgeous scarf thinking that this would keep me warmer than I was (in appropriately dressed for the conditions). Upon paying for the scarf, the lovely lady behind commented on how cold it had gotten outside and upon my response at having no coat with me, she kindly offered to lend me her coat to wear while I was at the market. This blew me away! Where else in NZ would you find such kindness and something I really appreciated. The following night, we suffered yet another earthquake in Christchurch and my husband and I were encouraged to leave our home due to the tsunami risk in Kaiapoi - sirens etc. What I thought about during that hours following the 'shake' was the kindness shown to me by this lovely lady who had never met me before. If you are visiting Geraldine, then "Just One Wish" is a great place to shop. I stop there whenever passing through and have bought some lovely bits and pieces over the past couple of years.

I don't bother getting my gifts from anywhere else and they gift wrap!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this shop. Something for everyone from Jewelry to kitchenware, wall art to holiday kiwiana keepsakes. Children are covered from muslin wraps for babies through to complex metal puzzles for the older child. Beautiful ponchos made in Nz from a blend of Possum, Merino and Silk and just so many other beautiful things.
