★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Barkers is one of my favourite place to go for a foodie. The selections they have is so diverse and abundant with a very generous tasting table. You can try all their new products and by golly are they tasty. There have been many times i’ve gone in for a couple of things and all of a sudden gotten a couple more after trying them.
The cafe is delicious and has an amazing selection of menu and cabinet food. They use their own products in all their dishes so you can try their jams, chutneys, spreads and sauces.
If you’re in Geraldine, this stop is a MUST

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best breakfast!!! Fresh beautiful food, great coffee and friendly staff. The food looked and tasted so good, I was wishing we were staying in Geraldine another day so we could try the lunch menu!! We have been travelling around the south Island for a week, eating amazing food, and this is the best yet!!

All the cafe food looks incredible and tasted amazing.
They have a to-die-for self service condiment station with all their amazing sauces n chutneys etc.
The shop is great too, we loved taste testing the cordials and spread products.
A must do if you are in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best coffees I've had in a long time great food and the cakes well I want to try them all, the staff are running arround serving and tidying getting the job done great services, the shop at the front is stocked with all Barkers delicious sweet and savoury goods, the free drink tasting in the corner is genius.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our family stopped in for breakfast during a busy period but the food was prompt and service was good. Apart from poached eggs being hard boiled every thing was delicious! Great to check out and sample the barkers products in the shop too. Will definitely come back

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service was excellent. Food was delicious. Coffee was good. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. But gets very busy around lunch time. Amazing range of locally made condiments conserves, relishes pickles and fruit juices to purchase. Plenty of off street parking. All wheelchair accessible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An amazing space and view out to a beautiful garden. The staff were very friendly. The taste testing stations were an awesome addition. Hoping to add a few more photos of the food you can get at the cafe as all our dishes were delicious!
Definitely need to stop by again when back in the South Island.
