★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disappointed by this campsite which seemed nice on internet. You have to cross the SH to be on the beach. The train pass very close. Facilities old, not well-maintained and dirty excepted for the bathroom. You have to push a button for few minutes of showers (outside the shower). “Kitchen” very small and no real dining/living room. No plugs available. We spend our evening in the laundry to charge our laptop and phone. No Free Unlimited Wifi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved this quaint little campsite. Everything was clean and well maintained. Scenery was just what you would want for Kaikoura area. Sad that I didnt see whales or dolphins but beautiful anyway. Will definately come back here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The facilities aren't anything to brag about, they give you what you need (showers, kitchen, dining area) - but none of that matters because the scenery is fantastic. We camped literally right next to the shore, and were able to see the sun rise over the ocean the next day. Only downside is that the road is right next to those campsites too, but there's one line of trees in the way so that didn't bother us too much.
