★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thank you Mick & Karen for a wonderful stay. We enjoyed the welcoming & relaxing atmosphere. The location is fantastic, walking distance to the township. Mick, your breakfast is outstanding. It's also lovely to sit at the dining table with other guests & hear about where they come from. The outdoor spa is a great wee spot to the side of the garden. The perfect place to unwind at the end of the day. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would love to come back. You guys rock!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nikau Lodge is beautiful! Our room was well equipped and super comfortable, with stunning ocean and mountain views. The atmosphere was so relaxing, it made for the perfect mini break away from life for a couple of days. Our hosts Karen and Mick, and Jazz the dog of course, were so welcoming and made our stay very special. And it was all topped off with the best eggs benedict for breakfast! We will definitely be treating ourselves to a Nikau Lodge weekend away more often. Thank you!

Fresh homemade cookies, beautiful room with a great view of kaikoura, lovely spa, lounge area with big comfy couches and outdoor dining area, incredible breakfast along with the best friendly service and homely touches. Thought of absolutely everything. This place is full of love and hands down best accomodation in kaikoura!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the most amazing couple of nights whilst staying with Mick & Karen. Such lovely people, welcoming and so helpful. The room was private and comfortable. Spa was the perfect way to relax after a long day of walking the peninsular. This was by far the best B&B we’ve stayed in. Cherry on the top was Jazz the dog, such a cutie!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We can't rave enough about Nikau Lodge! The house is beautiful, the gardens are like something out of a magazine, and the rooms are spacious and spotless with amazing views. Hosts Karen and Mick are warm, kind and always helpful with ideas on how to spend your time in Kaikoura - eating, walking, or soaking up the stunning scenery. Breakfast...did I mention breakfast? It's better than a 5 star restaurant, Mick is an outstanding chef with a great variety that caters for everyone. Get the idea we loved the place? Well we sure did and can't wait to return. Arohanui Karen and Mick (and Jazz), you made our stay that little bit more special.
