★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Even during a lockdown they are out here supplying much needed cafe treats to the locals! The safety measures they have in place to keep themselves and the public safe are great! And it's an efficient and quick service!
Delicious coffees, hot chocolates and the scones - let's just say one is enough but will keep you coming back for more!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome place, great food amazing staff!!! I popped into Kaos because I started having a migraine and i needed to try and chill in a dark corner until I was able to see properly and the woman behind the counter took care of me and made sure I was ok the whole time .... Thank you again ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love the coffee best in Papakura! Food was good we had brunch and all were happy with what they received. Staff are very friendly. Maybe I'll choose another seat next time, was too close to the counter and very loud customers behind me. Love the concept.

That was my first impression when I came to Kao and was welcome by the manager. He's very friendly and, most of the time, a "hoot." Funny fella, that makes us so welcome while we were there.
Though the kitchen is closed, we have coffee and cakes. I loved the carrot cake, one of the good ones I ever had. Overall, I love the ambience and theme of this place. What a great contrast to our last experience at Pukekohe.
It is not only about the food but great service is essential, and Kao at Papakura had risen up on my list of places that I will definitely come again.
Next time, it will be more than just coffee and cakes

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here with my family and we thought it was a really cute place!! Has great retro vibes. We were greeted with a warm welcome and when we ordered, we received this cute polar bear as a table mark. Food was also very nice, although I wasn't too sure if they forgot to take off the baking paper... I did end up removing it myself. Overall fantastic nevertheless! We will definitely come back here :)
