Here at Kapiti Stables, we believe that everyone, no matter what age or riding ability, should be able to experience the rolling hills and wetlands of Kapiti Coast from atop a horse’s saddle. Grab the reins and get on, the beach is waiting!
We first opened our doors in 2017 with just a few treks down to the beach and back, but since then we’ve grown in leaps and bounds! Now we offer treks, lessons, grazing, birthday parties and holiday programmes, Equine Assisted Therapy, and more! Check out our services to find out more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely disappointed to leave this facility with my 12 year old in tears on her birthday. The stable Manger who I'd been emailing claimed to have never received any of the emails to which he'd replied confirming the booking was made on my daughters birthday.
Follow up emails requesting an explanation and perhaps something in the way of compensation have been ignored.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Most magnificent ride. Horses were wonderful and I felt so safe around them. The lady that led us was just awesome and made sure we were all ok every step of the way. A must do experience for non-riders and experienced riders. Definitely coming again.
