★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A perfect summer holiday place, our family stayed a week and went to many glorious beaches. We swam and boogie-boarded in the surf, kayaked, some of us went stand up boarding, we saw dolphins and we went to Cape Reinga. The Lodge is spacious, clean and comfortable, and the hosts are generous and gracious and made sure we were looked after. Thank you Katalina and Paul.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Looking for a place to stay during a rainstorm. We walked down the driveway and Katalina and Paul were incredibly welcoming. Awesome little mini-hostel setup with a ton of perks. Lots of movies, covered patio, use of kayaks and paddleboards. Paul even took us on a tour of the peninsula when our plans got rained out. Brilliant hospitality.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Katalina and Paul are amazing hosts! We went away to celebrate my wife's birthday and Katalina made a cake for when we got back from dinner. We had great fun eating it and talking with Paul and Katalina and the other guests for the rest of the evening. They made sure we had everything we needed and have a great beachy, relaxed vibe going. The rooms/facilities were very cool. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very comfortable and lovely bed and breakfast with the most wonderful hosts! Paul and Kristina are wonderful people who take care of the guests, they even kindly shared some Christmas cookies with us. I loved staying here for two nights with my husband. Cabin is small but comfortable with a kitchenette, bed was nice, and the birds, nature, and ocean view was fantastic. It's off the beaten path but a great base to explore the beautiful Northland beaches from.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a lovely stay with Paul and Katalina over the long weekend. They were incredibly kind and went out of their way to ensure I was warm, comfortable and well fed. I was really blown away by their generosity!
I stayed in George the caravan, which was very well set up with everything you could need for cooking, a surprisingly big bathroom and a comfortable bed. Both Paula and Katalina spent time giving me recommendations of things to do in the area and I only wish I’d had longer to see it all. I would highly recommend Karikari Lodge as a great place to stay for a short or extended period. You’ll be welcomed like one of their whanau!
