★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great services, wonderful staff, neat and tidy rooms, new gas BBQ just installed.
Toilets and kitchen areas were regularly looked after.
We initially planned for one night but due to awesome ambience, decided to stay another night.
All guests were very friendly and most of them have been coming there regularly.
This place offers fun activities including free kayaks, pool table and a free spade for nearby hot water beach.
The thing we love the most about Kawhia is peace and not too many people around like other places.
Conrad (owner) and the team are so lovely and welcoming—thanks guys for the great hospitality, we will surely come again soon.
Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had an amazing time! Highly recommended this experience! Was only meant to stay for one day ended up staying for 2. Holiday park is on such a beautiful location by beach and well kept. Wonderful people that run the place, the team was amazing, very helpful owner. Owner definitely one the best host friendly and very welcoming. Absolutely amazing experience first time being here definitely exceeded my expectations and had the lucky opportunity to drive through beach to the hot pools was incredible. Will definitely be back!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed one night here after a disastrous camper hire trip. We couldn't go further, as our vehicle was unsafe to drive. Conrad fixed our side wing mirror, which meant we could get back to Auckland with one less safety issue to worry about. He gave us his number to refer camper hire company to, as evidence of what we were to report to them. Super helpful, great location. Nice wee stop, when you need to escape the stress of the city! Thanks for being our saving grace!
