COVID-19 TRAFFIC LIGHT SYSTEM
From Tuesday 5 April, a Vaccine Pass will not be required when staying at Kennedy Park Resort. Masks must be worn in our reception area and Storkey’s Restaurant.
Our team will continue to follow Ministry of Health guidelines to protect you and ensure your stay at Kennedy Park Resort is a safe and enjoyable experience. We look forward to seeing you, however if you are feeling unwell, please hold off your visit until your symptoms clear to ensure the safety of our community and staff.
There may be guidance changes in the future which we will respond to as required and will keep you as informed as possible.
SELF-ISOLATING FACILITY
Kennedy Park Resort Napier has a longstanding commitment to being Hawke’s Bay’s supported self-isolating facility, providing accommodation services for essential workers and self-isolating guests if required. This means after a medical officer has assessed the case and they have no appropriate means to self-isolate they will be transferred to Kennedy Park Resort.
If we are asked to support a self-isolating guest, the person will be located away from others in a stand-alone unit. They will not be allowed to leave their room or the dedicated outside space, and are unable to use any of the resort’s facilities. Security will be in place under the strict procedures of the Hawke’s Bay District Health Board.

β β β β β Clean and well kept. the welcome was a bit like being admitted to a rehab or similar institution. The whole 'conversation' lacked personality and welcoming. Read out the rules - same as all the other camps. Not at all welcoming and rather rude imo.
Noisy road traffic all night.
extremely expensive for one person with a tent = $56 and nothing extra from other camps which also inc wifi and showers. Can't see where any added value is for the money. Maybe calling yourself a resort means you can charge more than twice the usual rate. I would've gone elsewhere but it was getting dark.

β β β β β Room wasn't as advertised. Very cheap feel and outdated accommodation. We asked for a better room and was twice given a lesser quality, or same room with very cheap bathrooms. Giving two stars for the facilities (pool, playground)

β β β β β The staff were friendly and the pool/ playground is pretty cool for the kids. We were staying in the apartment/motels and the internet is absolutely rubbish. At times it was extremely frustrating.Do not expect to be able to watch the old Netflix account when the kids go to sleep, using their wifi... you will be severely disappointed.
Otherwise, can't fault them, great place ?

β β β β β Traveled as a family of 2 adults and 1 infant under 6 months old. Booking online to secure a portacot rental was incredibly easy. Portacot was fully equipped with wonderful bedding too, which meant we didn't have to worry about bringing our own.
The room itself was comfortable, clean and kept very warm thanks to the heat pump. The kitchenette was equipped with everything we needed if we needed to cook our own meals (we didn't end up doing that).
Definitely well worth the price paid, and will be making this our regular accommodation whenever we travel to Napier in future.

β β β β β Great place, picked as it was only a few streets away from friends. Close to everything. Easy parking, nice place, lovely staff and great pool.
Only moan is that the disable shower you had to push the water every minute, which is hard for me, and the dump station was at one end only.
Otherwise very nice place to stay and relax.

β β β β β When we arrived reception was a bit cold, but generally the service over our stay was great. All the amenities were great (loved the gym!), our family of 9 enjoyed the giant pillow and the swimming pool, our living villas were exceptional and suited & exceeded our expectations. Only downer was when we went to the restaurant we were told that there was no OJ to see it come out on another table & when we had our pudding, we had a long wait and was told that the ice cream had run out and was substituted with with half a peanut slab ice cream with our chocolate mud cake, hence why I gave 4 star instead of a higher score.
