β β β β β Great facility, friendly hosts. There are non powered tent sites, mainly the powered sites are for RV's, but there are some grassy areas to setup for tents that have power among the RV sites.

β β β β β Paid $50 for 2 people for 1 night which is very overpriced for what it is. You then pay $2 for a 6 minute shower. Other camping grounds we have been staying in around the country charge $42 for 2 people per night including showers. Very basic facilities.

β β β β β Excessively noisy. The tents were placed right next to the road. It was like sleeping on a motorway! The boats are treated better than tenters being parked at the other end of the camp away from the road and closer to the facilities.
For the large number of people at the camp before New Year the kitchen with only one sink and one jug just isnt big enough. One fridge freezer was working but the other old fridge freezer was not.
There is only a mid day clean of the facilities meaning they are horribly messy in the morning. There are only mixed toilets and showers and there arent enough of them.

β β β β β Booked for couple of nights, however we had issues in our car so couldn't make it on the day. Guy on the phone told us that we had to be there by 7pm or else we'd lose our booking and the $80 deposit. Absolutely ridiculous as why does it matter if I'm not there on the first day when my booking is for multiple days anyway. We ended up arriving in kerikeri the next day and found a much better place to stay anyway, but the deposit and the behavior is absolutely unacceptable.

β β β β β A lovely peaceful campsite just away from the hustle and bustle of the towns of the Bay of islands. Ideal for exploring the far north. Overlooking fields and animals. Nice and cool under shady trees in summer. Lovely shower facilities and free Wi-Fi that works great. The owners are great hosts taking care that everything runs smoothly and everyone is happy. Highly recommended.

β β β β β Good facilities. Cheap and spacious showers. Road noise was slight but not bad as camp is back off the road a fair bit. Happy to stay again. $20 / person per night for non powered in June 2020.

The site are quite and relax and all is CLEAN.?
The owner are really friendly.
The WiFi are super good ?
You can find some toys for play outside, and some interesting books ( you can take one for ever but you need to put an other)
It's 20$/pers.
For sure I recommend!?

β β β β β Lovely campsite. Grounds are landscaped with several bits of old farming equipment about. The showers are only $1 for 5 minutes and very hot and powerful. There are 2 shower and toilets blocks both bright and exceptionally clean. Fantastic indoor cooking facilities with both an indoor and outdoor eating area. Lovely and quiet and felt very relaxed. Would definitely stay again.
