β β β β β We were sent away when we wanted to check in at 11.00am, advised to come back after 12. Trying to find where it says to check-in after 12, still haven't found, only 'opens at 09.30am'. When switching from one camp (check out before 10am) to the next that was not what we wanted to hear, so we moved on.

β β β β β Was clean and tidy we used the power sites for a campervan. Utilities were clean and tidy ,.just a little noisy from traffic as you are right under a bridge.

β β β β β Enjoyable stay with 2 kids and a pooch in tent by the river. Staff helpful both in the phone and at check in. It's a really pleasant spot, main downside being a fair amount of noise from traffic on the bridge. Will stay again

β β β β β This was the worst campground we experienced on our campervan tour.
i DO not recommend staying at all if you intend to use the camp bathroom and kitchen facilities. These are so old and far from up to date.
The fee for one night for a powered site was the same price as many other campgrounds we visited on our south island tour all of which which had extremely high level of facilities.
Overpriced and out of date

β β β β β Stayed the night in a camper. Owners were lovely. Enjoyed our spot down by the river, watching the pukekos and the rabbits roaming round. Very peaceful. Shower and toilet block were great and nice and clean. Had dinner over road at pub. Best feed in ages, meals were huge. Great atmosphere there too.

β β β β β This is one of the worst parks we have stayed at. While there us nothing wrong with the pitches themselves, the facilities are very tired and a bit grotty. The whole place feels a bit run down and depressing.
On the positive side, the staff were very friendly and helpful and it was not as noisy as I expected due to the proximity to the main road.
On the whole, I would recommend skipping Blenheim apart from a place to shop and restock. You would be better off staying in Picton which is only 20 minutes away and a hundred times nicer!

β β β β β Really disappointed in our stay here. It was our first visit to Blenheim and I could not get out of there fast enough. The unit was not clean, and it was extremely stuffy. The security is terrible, there was a homeless person cooking in the kitchen in the early hours of the morning who ran off into the nearby bushes. Their facilities are not clean and they are NOT pet friendly as stated. The unit had a foul smell, there was an ashtray full of used cigarette butts out front, a dead fly on the TV screen and a wet patch on the bottom bunk sheet
If you want a good first impression of Blenheim DO NOT STAY HERE
