★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An awesome afternoon out on the bay seeing all range of bird life and sights. Kenny was very knowledgable of the area, clear instructions and guidance. We booked on last minute and was welcomed with open arms on the afternoons tour. All the equipment needed was given to us and even had a perfect afternoon tea on the far side of the bay. Thanks for a great afternoon!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We just had the best day ever, thanks to Kenny and Callum of KG Kayaks, and Barry, who sailed us all out to Whale Island on a wonderful sailing catamaran. We paddled around the whole island in sea kayaks, and saw seals, eagle rays, and sea birds. We were able to paddle through one rock bridge, and see caves, and geothermal formations. Kenny was a very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly guide. This was a fabulous day out, and unbelievably good value. Do it! We recommend this venture.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a fantastic day kayaking at Whale Island with KG Kayaks. It was great fun, we saw (and heard) plenty of native birds and fur seals, and we learned many interesting facts about the area. We even had a short walk on the island, and in the end had a relaxing sail back while enjoying the sun and Helen's homemade muffins. A special thanks to our guide Helen and our skipper Barry for the great experience. I highly recommend this trip!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked a freedom kayak for 2 hours. Setting up was effortless and Kenny is a lovely guy to chat with. Sent me on my way after a thorough safety briefing and an overview of the route and islands in the vicinity. Conditions were idyllic and it was lovely to see some birds, mangroves and rock formations. Was hoping for a stray ray to show up but it wasn't my day. Hoping to join the Whale Island trip in the near future!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastastic Adventure ,i was Kayaingk for the first time, Night Kayak on a full moon, Kenny's a great host , heaps of fun, absolutely recomend for everyone, even if you havent Kayaked before, 2 hours on the water and finished off with a hot cuppa, exelllent 10/10

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Looking for something different for my husband's birthday I got him a voucher for a night kayak with Kenny at KG Kayaks (of course I had to go along too). What a fantastic night, the sunset was amazing and the night was so calm, we even had so stingray excitement. Kenny is a fantastic guide who has so much knowledge of the area. It was a wonderful relaxing evening after a full on day. We highly recommend Kenny at KG Kayaks and definitely plan to go out with him again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a great way to start the day! We freedom kayaked in the ohiwa harbour, out to Ohakana Island and back. We had 2 experienced in the group and 2 not so experienced. Kenny and the team were super friendly and made us all feel comfortable going out on the water by ourselves. The water was calm and the views were awesome. 100% recommend and we will be back. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We Kayaked for the first time and had wonderful experience with both Kenny and Clare. Clare was our guide and she helped us with lots of tricks and also guided us through the whole tour. Communication was very good and we shared many stories and it was so much fun.
After the experience we all felt like pro at Kayaking ? very good experience and worth the money ? If you are a first timer or a professional and want to experience and have a good time with friends or alone this is the best place to be ❤️ thank you Kenny and Clare
