★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited your Lower Hutt centre to buy a new car. A suggestion to enhance your sales approach is not to make the customer feel unvalued and fobbed off. The sales person gave the very clear impression he had other things he wanted to do. We left and purchased a new car from another dealer.

When I came to pick it up, I found a small dent on the front left door of the car. Very disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Brought second hand Lexus is 350 with a new warrent of fitness. Rear brake pads needed replacing straight away they were below wof standards which I paid half to re-new, rear gas strut leaking my mechanic who I trust said it needed replacing and to go back to them they should replace it but they refused. These guys don't care about there customers or the right thing to do my advise is to stay away

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Faultless service. I have been using them since 1996 and never once had a problem. It amuses me why people write about an experience they didn't like as there wouldn't be one business on the planet that is perfect in every way. I've found it better to talk to a manager and share any poor service or product with them, they will appreciate it and rectify any issues.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We took King Toyota up on a discounted 30 point service offering recently. The front office service was excellent. However the technical service gets a big thumb down as they completely failed to detect very worn brake pads and recommend an immediate replacement. Luckily the people who did a recent warrant of service check at another garage picked this up so we're safe again. On that basis I would not recommend King Toyota for any service work.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My partner and I had booked a test drive for a Lexus CT200h.
We showed up, signed the paperwork, Ernesto (sales guy) drives the car out front and tells us we’re good to go.
Before taking off I walked around the car and noticed the tires barely had any thread on them, one of them had gashes in the side.
At some point one of the tires must have blown because the inside of the front bumper was shredded.
Needless to say we did not drive the car, they should have never allowed us on the road as this presents a serious safety hazard.
Would not recommend this place, and if you do decide to consider them, please be careful and do your due diligence.
