★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff is very friendly. I usually give my wife's Toyota car for servicing. This time I decided to give my VW. My car failed the Wof the parts were to be brought out from Auk. In the meantime I tried to check for the availability of the same parts in Welly. I got really obnoxious estimates from other Mechs in and around UH. The difference of the cost was around $250 higher than what King was charging me. I decided to go with them. The trust that I had only grew more stronger with this experience and would surely recommend them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ King Toyota has been in Upper Hutt for a number of years and actually started off in King Street which probably had something to do with the name. It is quite a large firm now and exist also outside of Upper Hutt. My experience with the staff in Upper Hutt has been good and I would be happy to deal with King Toyota at any time.

Your Mechanic Graeme made a point of checking in with me regarding something before going ahead, I really appreciated that.
Is always worth a longer drive when the service is great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had to deal with them a while back with an airbag recall. They somehow managed to disconnect my driver side speaker on the same day I picked my vehicle up from the airbag job. Their mechanic and management staff wouldn't claim responsibility for the damage and kept brushing it off as coincidence (RIGHT AFTER THE AIRBAG WAS REPLACED). They said they will look into it but if it wasn't their fault they would charge a fee, really shady work ethics at play here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not impressed. Went to look at a hybrid chr. There wasnt one in. Staff member took our phone number and said will have one in a couple of days and call. Never heard anything back. Been back to King Toyota and not one in - nearly 2 weeks ago. Great service! We wont be buying a new car from them anytime soon.
