I've been there twice looking for gifts for my family/friends back home. Both times, I felt very emotional and amazed by the pieces of art displayed. It's just like you can tell every single item was made with love and affection.
Plus, the staff was always helpful and open to any help and kind conversations.
I totally recommend a visit.

Wonderful pieces both traditional and modern and many will come with a small biography about the artist. This is my go to place for purchasing pounamu as there is great variety for all budgets, they are high quality and I know that I am supporting a local MΔori artist.
