About Small Acorns
Hello and welcome to Small Acorns – The Contemporary Living Store.
Small Acorns is a beautiful lifestyle and interior store, and it’s home to some of the most lusted after and desirable goodies from New Zealand and around the globe.
We feel perennially young, but actually, we've been on the Wellington retail scene for over 25 years now. Hard to believe we know! We may not yet be a mighty oak, but from our small, Small Acorns beginnings in Kilbirnie, we have grown, and continue to champion our unique store and the perfectly imperfect style we’ve become known for.
Small Acorns is modern and contemporary in style, with a classical approach to great service, and full of the jollies of life. Everything instore is chosen because we love it and know our customers will too.
We don't believe in following trends. We believe in personal style, designs that stand the test of time, and a room that tells a story. Our store is full of personal treasures, beautiful fabrics, upcycled vintage and contemporary design, infused with colour & a touch of eclectic whimsy. We'd like to think that Small Acorns is kind of like your favourite lifestyle magazine in a store.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is such a beautiful shop! Even their books (on florals, etc.) are different and everything is displayed with style and elegance, and of course, colour! If you are looking for something different decor-wise or for inspiration, don't overlook SA.
It is located on Blair St. opposite the Thai Chef Restaurant, and diagonally opposite the New World Supermarket on Wakefield St. and is easy to find. They are open on Saturday afternoons as well and there is handy car-parking right outside. If you are using public transport SA is close to Courtney Place bus terminus.

In all the times I have made the trip to this store I have been so disappointed with the response and service . Please interact with customers and get off the computer and make them feel welcome. We found 2 cushions we liked but wanted to make sure the looked right in our house. After all we were about to pay $530 for 2 cushions. We asked can we take them home overnight to decide and the store can charge our credit card. In the unlikely event we didn't like them could we have a refund?
The store advised no refund would be given just a store credit. Not surprisingly we will be buying elsewhere
