★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well thought -- out walking track zig zags it's way 1200 metres to the top . A sign at the track's beginning is full of information relative to the climb . An absolute must-do if you are in the Waitaki Valley . Bonus : Armchairs strategically placed all up the track !
