I wanted sumthing different done to my hair between braids and extensions. Extensions won and everytime i looked or spoke about who was good La Villa Hairdressing was mentioned so I rang and spoke to one of the lovely ladies their and to my surprise I could get in for a consultation right then. The gentleman hairdresser colored my hair, thinnd my hair out and prepped my extensions. On Thursday 6th August I went back at 1.45pm to have my extensions put in and 4.30 I was walking out the door like another looking person lol. Thank u guys at La Villa use are all amazing, friendly, people.

I had my extensions put in recently at La Villa and was disappointed by the lack of communication around what to expect as well as what was included in the service. I'd like to say that the stylist who installed my extensions was lovely and did a great job, my disappointment is with the consultation I received and the lack of communication from La Villa.In my consultation I don't feel it was made clear to me what was included in the $1100 I was spending on my hair. No one informed me to wash my hair before coming in, and I was embarrassed when it was mentioned that I should next time. In terms of 'shaping', my stylist called over another more experienced hairdresser who seemed peeved at being needed, quickly thinned out my hair (as expected), and didn't say a word to me the whole time, which made me feel uncomfortable. At the end of the installation, the only other 'shaping' involved about ten seconds of trimming the hair that frames my face. The end result was in dire need of more attention, and I am now going to a different salon to have that done. It was not a conversation at any point as to the actual look I wanted and what I should request to achieve it. It felt like I showed up, had extensions whacked in, and then left with a block of my own hair and some long extensions. Some more communication is really needed from the stylists and for anyone who is purchasing these packages.

I had a 1/2 head of foils and a cut, the hair dresser was lovely although, I asked for the orange tinge to be removed and I came back more orange when I got it fixed at another salon they said they took the foils out 5min early that’s why it’s orange. I asked for My hair to be cut into a simple bob above my shoulders, but my hair was cut different lengths and was swooping off my shoulders in some places and I had a random layer that had been cut which I’m assuming was a mistake and there was a cover up as told by the second hairdresser I went to. I would ask that you take a bit more time with each client and not rush them through to try fit lots of people in. I was charged $280. I had my hair redone at a different salon which then cost me another $200.

EDIT: Was contacted by the new Salon manager today who said they'd had a restructure and she wanted to put this matter right. I am hopeful ? watch this space. Waste of money My appointment was at 9am. The stylist didn't even show up until 9.30. Noone attempted to let me know what was happening. I was just left sitting there wondering what was going on. The stylist made no attempt to apologise when she finally did arrive. When I raised it with the manager of the salon later on, saying I felt like the stylist was in a rush and didn't take the care she should've and potentially this was because she was late arriving. The manager said "Oh. That's not reflected in our booking." Essentially tried to gaslight me and also made no attempt to apologise. The stylist who looked after me told me she would send me away with a purple shampoo to maintain the blonde higlights she was putting in. I told her I also need something for sensitive skin as the skin on my scalp is really temperamental and gets irritated and flaky really easily. She said she could this would be fine and she'd sort something out for me. She didn't. But sent me away with a shampoo for generally coloured hair which completely irritated the skin on my scalp. The only upside is that this shampoo made a great bubble bath for my daughter. My hair did look good when I left the salon and the volume and length I wanted was there but a 2 days later, it looked terrible. They told me the toner had washed out or something and I needed to buy a purple shampoo from them to fix the issue. I also said I wasnt happy with the colour blending as it looked really unnatural. This was 2 days after I'd spent nearly $1500 at this salon. I called and raised the issue with staff that when that much money is spent, I expect a much higher standard than my hair only looking good (or natural) for a few days. In response to this, I was told that because I was happy when I left this store this was not something they were willing to do anything about. Except for the fact that one of the clasps on the extensions hadn't been attached properly and was sticking out. The store offered to send me a complimentary purple shampoo for this inconvenience. But I just didn't respond to the email because this time I was sick of dealing with the salon. For what I paid, it was terrible service and I would never recommend this salon to anyone. I have been coming to La Villa for years and they nail it every time! You are always going to get good banter and walk out looking like a million bucks! It’s a fantastic vibe, especially with the lovely Emma behind the counter welcoming you with her cheery personality! Thank you girls for always making me feel fab and part of your family x
