★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bus stop 5014, at the most northern end of Lambton Quay, opposite Kiwi Bank, does have a seat but no dedicated shelter. There is however plenty of overhead protection from the shops' overhang and some of their deep doorways also provide welcome relief from gusty winds.
The two seats a few metres further north are actually closer to the very last bus stop which is used by the Karori buses. It is not your stop if you are taking buses to the northern suburbs eg. Johnsonville, Eastbourne, etc. and so these buses will only stop at 5014 and not the Karori one beyond this.
Nb. Bus routes have had a major overhaul in the last year and there has been some radical changes so don't wait at the wrong stop like many folks did initially as there was little communication from Metlink.
