★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a world class fitness centre and the home of the very first personal training programmes. Their exercise classes are now sold into fitness clubs all over the world. This building is the home of the very first Les Mills gym so is full of history. It’s also a large gym with separate men’s and women’s gyms.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Huge variety of equipment here, and I particularly appreciate the women only section that is also well-equipped. I would give 5 stars for that, but unfortunately it is sabotaged by the sketchy customer service, at times giving off the impression that they really do not have much regard for the members. Some things are also unusable and in desperate need of replacement.. check out this barbell pad.
Edit: bumped up the stars as they promptly replaced the old barbell pads!

Gym closes hour later but staff starts packing there bags asap 1 hour before, aircons, light's are switched off. It's not for people services which they pay for but staff convenience. I have just been twice and I am paying more than $ 500.
Out dated weight equipments
Branch Managers are so well trained to put you under one year membership for there gain and your losses and then they send it to credit company to take there money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Says the gym closes at 8pm but you are kicked out at 7.30pm.
This happens for every time on the website, gym floor closes 30 mins before.
The "female" gym has male PTs and male staff who come around at 7pm closing all the windows when it's boiling hot. Also - NO AIRCON !
Machines are pretty dated, almost impossible to book onto classes. Granted when you get a class booking it is good, runs on time and is delivered by nice enthusiastic staff.
Overall just not worth the hype or the price in my opinion. Been to much better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall, it is a good gym, but they always give the customers a "we want you to leave now" vibe, even before the gym floor closes. During summer time, the staff usually comp up to the woman's section and close most of the windows 15 mins prior to closing time, and it got absolutely hot I just had to leave early. Today, one of the cleaning crew started vacuuming the floor from 6.20pm - again prior to the floor closing time.
You should know some people only have a fixed time for gym and that could be around the closing time but still want to make the best out of it instead of being pushed out of the place earlier than it's supposed to be.
Treat your customers better when you want to claim yourself the "fancy" gym of NZ.
