★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sorry but the roast chicken tasted awful. I am wondering if it was a boiled fowl that was then roasted. It was edible but just didn’t taste right, dry, overcooked. I didn’t see it come out of the cabinet but from the prep area? Anyway 1/2 chicken and chips - chips were ok. Disappointing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had chicken burger meal (9). This place has good food and tasty as well. The wait was close to 10 minutes as they make it after you order. There is parking Infront of the store. The fries was really tasty. Will visit again for sure.

I was very pleased to see that the yocum burger remains on the menu, even through the shop looks a little on the aged side the food is of a good standard and value for your money, one small suggestion a smile to your customers would certainly go a long way but apart from that Li'l Abners hopefully remains an intrinsic part of School Corner, Papatoetoe.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome service from the Papakura branch tonight. Inital order had an easy mistake in it (BBQ sauce used after I specified tomato allergy). The team were friendly, helpful and replaced my burger in quick time. Thanks all!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had lil abners via uber eats the other day and was highly disappointed! The chips which they are known for and which used to be delicious have changed. Instead I got burnt yucky flavourless chips! What happened lil abners???
