★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had to get a new bedside lamp after the previous one died after several years. Wanted the same one as before, the Tracey lamp. It's a touch lamp available in either antique brass or polished chrome. Was told by Pam - the very helpful assistant - that it's a very popular design and been around for 15+ years. Store was having a 40% off, so only paid $45 instead of $75. They have an awesome range of light designs without being totally 'over-the-top' and all reasonably priced.

Sadly the bedside lamp disgraced itself and no longer wanted to shed any light on ANYTHING! What was even more frustrating was that it happened just after Auckland went into lockdown in August. Went hunting on Lighting Plus website to see what was available and found the Dona LED Touch Lamp in Satin Nickel finish. Very similar to what I had before. I could have ordered and had it couriered to me, but some purchases for the home, I like to see in 'real life', first.
So, waited patiently until I could. The young man, Omi, in the Pukekohe store was very helpful and efficient. I walked in knowing what I wanted, and he handled the entire transaction wonderfully. What was even better was getting 40% off.
Once again, a very satisfied return customer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a fabulous experience! My neighbour was looking for a fitting for a new metal shade she had bought and we were recommended to go to Lighting Plus. The service was amazing.......helpful, informed, friendly, professional. Help was also provided over the correct type of bulb.
My neighbour and I both commented as we left how good the staff member was....shame we didn't take her name.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here with my 85 year old uncle to get a replacement bulb for his lamp, which was at least 25 years old. Leonie very kindly brought him a chair to sit in while she took the glass off to replace the bulb. Unfortunately it turned out to be a very tricky job - after half an hour of Leonie, the manager Christine and myself trying, Christine finally got the bulb in - such patience and persistence, excellent and cheerful service, thank you. Thoroughly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have purchased lighting from Lighting Plus twice recently, first in Te Rapa and second here in Pukekohe. The first time we fell in love with some beautiful pendants for our kitchen, we received such wonderful and helpful service in Te Rapa. The second time we wanted the same ones for our new build so visited the Puke store, purchased those and more for our bathrooms also. We were underwhelmed with the service. We understand the delay, we had to wait around three weeks for the stock to arrive, this is a nationwide issue extending further than lighting so that was okay. But when picking up the items I advised that I was hoping to remove x2 pendants and bulbs from the order (out of an order for x5 pendants & x5 bulbs) and I was made to feel like a refund was impossible, the woman serving me actually laughed at me, and made me feel very uncomfortable, but eventually she reluctantly processed my refund. The experience was awkward enough to discourage us from purchasing from this store in particular in future. The product is still beautiful, however.
