★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An awesome place to shop. Having a vast variety of craft and hobby projects. From wool/yarn, embroidery and sewing cottons, fabric, curtains, patterns and many, many more bits and bobs. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. An overall pleasurable shopping experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Only given one star in order to leave a comment, stood outside of Taupo store this morning in the cold waiting and waiting and waiting staff member finally strolled up at 10 last 10 and then refused to open the door as she said she didn't have her cash float ready, I waited until after 20 past 10 then gave up and went elsewhere to make my purchases, this is unacceptable, isn't 10am a late enough opening time? Won't bother going back here again as this isn't the first time I have had to wait outside for the staff to open the doors, they need a rocket, I would never hire staff that had such a poor attitude to their timekeeping. Lots of people who would love to have a job and turn up on time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Since opening I feel the range of fabrics has really dropped. Hardly any dressmaking fabrics, not much for quilting and interfacing has next to nothing. I've given up on shopping here for making garments and am only likely to pop in for thread now and then.
