In August 2006, Danske Mobler Taupo opened for business in the Totara Point Shopping Centre as a joint-venture, locally owned & operated showroom.

Featuring all the same quality, style, variety & professionalism that Danske Mobler has become famous for in over 50 years selling quality furniture to New Zealanders.

The store’s co-owners, John & Sue Collett are long-time Taupo residents. Working in close partnership with Danske Mobler, they have created the Central North Island’s leading furniture store with the support of a great team of highly trained, professional sales consultants with well over 50 years combined retail experience. They continue to raise the standards for sales & service in Taupo & strive to give customers from all over NZ a unique & welcoming experience with a focus on quality furniture options at an affordable price.

The purpose built, air conditioned showroom (Taupo's largest) features an outstanding range of New Zealand’s leading furniture manufacturers & suppliers under one roof. From the iconic Danske Mobler NZ made ranges, (including Eden Outdoor & Bos Designs); to exclusive imports from leading European & Asian manufacturers like Stressless of Norway, along with these major furniture brands: Coastwood, dBohdi, Dixie Cummings, Domani, EastWest Designs, EJP, IMG,  Ison Designs, Jade Furniture, Lazboy Gallery, Montreux, Otago Furniture, Paulack Furniture, Rhapsody Furniture, Salamander, Sealy Posturepedic Beds, Sleepsystems (Nature Sleep), Sorenmobler, Tasman Leathers, Tempur & Turnwoods to name but a few.
