★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rustic charm all to yourself. Great place to rent for a weekend away. Seven of us stayed here Mar16 and had a great time, swimming and enjoying the sun.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The school house is basic, there is no fresh water and no electricity. We stayed during the time of immense sadness due to a mass shooting in Christchurch, but we were lucky to have enjoyed the company of a newly wed who flew in by helicopter.
Unfortunately the property owner made it difficult to enjoy, we were made to bring supplies in by boat when we started. Very unfortunate for such a nice place to spend time, I would highly recommend boating around and camping on the beach instead.
