★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Biked the Rail trail to Little River ANZAC Weekend, we rewarded ourselves with coffee and cake. Busy but efficient cafe, food and beverages first rate, service second to none. Biked home, great experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best local cafe and store. Always good service. Love the eggs bene on hash brown. Cabinet food never disappoints. Cheesecake brownie is my fave. Wonderful place to stop on the way to Akaroa.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a sausage roll and hot chocolate, both tasted good but I could have used a touch more sauce with my sausage roll. Hot chocolate tasted great, very enjoyable. Area is a little cramped and very noisy, hard to tell what the people working there are saying. Masks don't help this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We called past the Little River Cafe' for some lunch. Although the cafe was busy we were served at our tables in a timely manner. The coffees were hot and full bodied. The beef cheek pie was super yummy too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Two stops here over the weekend... first for a coffee break which was fab with a great savory muffin very tasty and great size (could just do with a bigger serving of butter)!! Next stop Brunch on the way back and wow what a fab eggs bene and mushroom! Really nice wee spot to stop at.
